We want to start by saying a huge thank you to some wonderful individuals who have
donated a large amount of lovely women’s clothing, as well as a few men’s clothing.
My beautiful oldest daughter, Tiffany, stopped by two times last week (Wednesday and
Thursday), each time dropping off some great items. There were things such as running shoes, 5
men’s shirts and multiple women’s clothing, such as pants, jeans, leggings, hoodies, sweaters,
dress, skirts, shorts and a large variety of tops. We really do appreciate it so much sweetie, also for taking the time out of your busy schedule to help us out! On Friday, our dear neighbor
Sharon knocked on our door and surprised us with a big donation bag full of women’s clothing,
including a purse and multiple re-usable shopping bags, a beautiful soft robe, sheet sets, and pillowcases, PJ pants, multiple shirts (T’s and tanks), and 3 bras. Thank you so much, Sharon,
from the bottom of our hearts! We will make sure all these wonderful items get passed on to those who really need them the most! Only through the generosity of both of you and others,
will we be able to do this!
Earlier this evening, Beau and I were sorting through these items and organizing for our next outreach. We again noticed that we barely have any men’s clothing! We only have 2 pairs of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 5 shirts, and 2 pairs of socks! We are still hoping for another “miracle”
donation before the end of the week, otherwise it will have to be just a coffee and toiletries outreach for the men this time! We are planning to do our next Outreach # 10 on Saturday,
June 29, 2019, weather permitting. The rain date will be the next day, on Sunday, June 30th.
Anyone who would like to join us for a coffee and chat is more than welcome. If you would also
like to bring along some gently used clothing and/or footwear, you can hang them directly on
the rack, or even hand them out personally.
We will keep you updated once we are firm on the exact day, time and location.
