PROJECT DIGNITY LATEST UPDATE (Tuesday, September 17, 2019)

We have had some very busy days since our last outreach on Sunday, September 8, 2019. We spent a number of hours sorting through and organizing clothing items for our future outreach days. Since the temperature is dropping, we are trying to gather items suitable for the current weather. We are so very thankful for all of the generous donations that keep coming our way!
We first want to say a huge thanks to Beau’s co-worker Corina, who again has gathered donation items for us, including fall and winter jackets, sports pants and 4 pairs of running shoes. Beau’s good friend Alain donated men’s sweaters, hoodies, jackets, jeans, dress shirts, t-shirts, and a comforter/blanket. Thank you so much, Alain, for your support. It really means a lot to us! We also want to say a huge thank you to a wonderful lady named Vatt, who called me today to say she had 4-5 bags full of men’s clothing for us, which we will be picking up tomorrow. Your generous donation is so much appreciated, and the items will be going directly to those who need them the most. We are also anticipating a future donation from a lovely woman named Jennifer, who is in the process of gathering up some donation items. Thank you, Jennifer, for supporting Project Dignity! It is through all of the ongoing donations that we are able to consistently head downtown every two weeks for an outreach!
Our next outreach (#15) is planned for this Saturday, September 21, 2019. As usual, we will be arriving downtown in front of the Salvation Army between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Anyone who wants to join us for a coffee and a chat is more than welcome. Donations can also be dropped off then between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Just lookout for the Project Dignity vehicle. You can’t miss us. We are also willing to pick up donations at any location within the Ottawa area. Just email us or message us through F.B to arrange a day and time.
We want to thank each and every one of you for any and all donations. Without all of you, we couldn’t do what we do!

PS: We also wanted to say how much we appreciate all the “likes” and kind words on our Project Dignity Facebook page. Your ongoing support is what really keeps us going!
