Unfortunately, as many venues are being shut down, and with the government’s advice of avoiding crowds & close contact with others, it is with heavy hearts that we decided to halt all outreach activity until it is deemed safe again. Ottawa Public Health confirmed that this is the best course of action. This means we will not be heading downtown tomorrow, for what would have been our 25th outreach. Sadly, it will have to wait until the covid-19 threat is over!
I will continue with the bi-weekly “Latest Update”, and we will happily still pick up donations that we can use in future outreach days. We wish everyone a wonderful weekend. Please stay healthy and safe!
